Limited Editions’ website launches
Our website is up and running. It is designed to give you a flavour of Limited Editions, our spirit and our enthusiasm for our business.

We decided not to include a catalogue of everything we offer on our site as we believe furniture and furnishings are too tactile to be bought through anything but personal experience with personal service.

You need to feel the fabrics, and sit on the furniture!

Our website also makes it easy for you to find details of our Design Services and we will keep you updated with news and views about design, fabrics and furniture through our newsletter.

New and latest fabrics
The new season’s collections are arriving NOW. Autumn 2005 is bringing Cherry Orchard, a collection inspired by Chinese Porcelain from Designers Guild.

There are also suede corduroys and “mesh suede” from Designers Guild and look out for fabrics for the outdoor room – a trend which has been gathering speed over the last year.

Gone are the days of plain hard canvases, and we now have a plethora of beautiful fabrics for outdoor furniture and indoor/outdoor areas, as this part of the home becomes more and more important in our daily lives. There are bright stripes from Designers Guild, a slightly retro look from Osborne & Little, and lots of stripes and checks from local suppliers.

Gaston Y Daniela has launched the beautiful Ganagar print collection of finely drawn, but flamboyant, modern botanicals, and Zimmer Rohde has another scrumptious collection of silks, and mouth watering upholsteries. Later this month there will be new releases from Osborne & Little, Nina Campbell and Liberty.

As always, we have a wide selection of the new ranges in our sample library, and if we do not hold the samples, we can access them for you.

A gallery of our work
Our website has a small gallery of our work, which we will add to regularly. It includes custom designed joinery, curtains, and furniture. If you wish to know more about any item in the gallery, please contact any one of our interior design staff and they will be able to put you through to the person responsible.

An update on our staff
We are delighted to introduce you to Fiona Ramsden, who is looking after our Showroom and Customer Services. Fiona completed a diploma in Fashion and Technology and after some time working in London has returned to New Zealand and joined Limited Editions.

Upholstered furniture based around two key themes
Limited Editions offer one range of designs hand made in New Zealand to the most exacting standards for those who want to buy the best quality and keep it for many years, often reupholstering it as houses and lifestyles change. This furniture may be adjusted in size to suit your particular requirements, and we use premium fillings in all cushions. Included in this range are the New Bentley, Waldorf, William, Milan, Edward, and the new Charles design.

Our second range of upholstery is built to offer our customers a more price pointed option. This furniture is also hand made in New Zealand and will withstand the toughest wear, but detailing is generally simpler, and we generally offer only standard sizes. The Maison and the Greta are two of our most popular designs in this category.
