a team of Wellington based interior designers who specialise
in residential interiors - everything from house, apartments
and baches to Embassy residences, retirement homes and the
accommodation sector.
Limited Editions interiors are creative and individual, warm
and inviting – we’ll give you a home that makes
you smile every time you walk through the door.
Typically our interior design work includes kitchen and bathroom
design; interior renovations and alterations; custom joinery;
detailing all items for a new home, renovation or office,
design and specification of soft furnishings – curtains,
blinds, bedding etc. We charge fees for all of this work.
We also quote for the supply and installation of all types
of furniture and furnishings.
We aim to make it easy for you to have a home which is well
designed, comfortable and inviting. Our designers enjoy discussing
how we work and answering your queries. Please note that there
is no charge for your initial meeting with us.

1. Interior Design Service
Many of our jobs involve helping our clients plan and specify
the interior of a house, apartment, office or one or more
rooms. This may involve choosing wall colours and finishes,
flooring, bench surfaces, door hardware, joinery, appliances,
bathroom fittings, new curtains, blinds, furniture and accessories.
It may also include sourcing particular items, such as antiques
or artwork.
We would normally visit you on site to establish a detailed
brief and then prepare a scheme to meet your requirements.
Layout, sample boards and schedules of finishes are usually
provided.
2. Interior and/or Exterior Colour Schemes
This involves visiting you on site to discuss your requirements,
take photographs and notes. We then prepare a scheme to meet
your brief, together with a schedule of finishes.
3. Kitchen and Bathroom Design/ Interior Renovations
and Alterations / Joinery and Furniture Design
We offer a comprehensive service in three stages:
• Initial concept with proposed layout, elevations and
finishes.
• The second stage is the completion of full working
drawings and specifications, once the initial concept has
been agreed
• Finally we can advise you about suitable contractors,
arrange the pricing, let the contract, obtain all necessary
consents, and manage the completion of the project.
All fees are estimated in stages so that you are able to
progress with your project as you wish.
4. Curtains, blinds, other soft furnishings, furniture,
reupholstery
We are very well known for this work, and our passion for
textiles continues. We source fabrics and specify the design
of curtains, blinds and other soft furnishings, furniture
or reupholstery. Sample boards or layouts are usually provided.
FEES
We charge fees for all of our design work and are happy to
provide fee estimates.
BRIEFING US
The success of your project depends on us developing a detailed
brief of your requirements. To ensure you maximise the value
of the time we spend working with you, we recommend that you
provide us with as much detail as possible about the finished
result you wish to achieve. This may include photographs of
interiors; details of your likes and dislikes; and any other
information you may wish to include. Please include a copy
of any available floor plans and elevations.
BUDGETS
It is helpful for us to work to a budget and we will discuss
this with you when we are developing your brief. We understand
that you may not be familiar with current costs for the type
of work you are planning and we are happy to advise on this.
SUPPLY OF FURNITURE AND FURNISHINGS
We are very happy to quote for the supply, manufacturing
and installation of all furniture and furnishings items which
we specify. We are very experienced in this field and we work
with a group of dedicated New Zealand suppliers.
All our work is guaranteed and our prices are very competitive.
We also quote on specifications provided by other design companies.
STUDIO HOURS
We encourage you to make appointments to ensure that the
designer you wish to see will be available. Our business hours
in the Studio, on Level 2 of the Woolstore Design Centre at
258 Thorndon Quay, are from 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
We can meet customers outside of these hours by arrangement,
so if Saturday or an evening is best for you, please make
sure you call in advance to discuss this.
